hard at work!

Lynette and I are both hard at work, preparing for our big street festival on May 15th. When we set up shop at the Warrenton Spring Festival two years ago, we were way more successful than we could have ever imagined. Hopefully this year will be much the same...or even better!

Below are a few cute headbands that I just added to the shop. Bright and fun... just in time for spring and summer!

BEE-autiful

Our spring weather here in Virginia has been wonderful this week. I haven't done too much crafting, but I've enjoyed a ton of time outside playing with the boys, planting flowers, and working on our garden box.

This was a sweet picture I captured this afternoon. Our azaleas are in full bloom. BEE-autiful!

Show and Tell

So, our family blog is where I post all the cute pictures of my boys growing up. (We live in Virginia, and the majority of our family lives in Utah/Idaho/Arizona.) But for a fun change...my two little men go to be models for our shop's photo shoot! (So being a proud mom, I just had to post!)

As you can see, they are featuring our crazy cute t-shirt tie and tie-onesies. The ultimate in 'dressy casual', a must for every trendy little man's wardrobe! (More tops will be added to the etsy shop this afternoon.)

Side note - My selvage quilt is definitely coming along. I don't get to work on it quite as much as I'd like, but its looking great. The main part of the top is sewn together, I'm just working on the border now. I'll show a photo when I completely finish the top!

I've been busy

Happy Easter! I've been busy doing all kinds of crazy things this week. A little sewing, a fun photo shoot for the business, a super quick visit from my mom and older brother, a day in Williamsburg, VA., and a crazy day trip into Washington D.C. for the Cherry Blossom Festival. Whew!

As far as sewing goes, I've been working on a bunch of little aprons for our shop. We are having BIG SALE over there tomorrow on aprons, so we're trying to stock the shop!
Just a little example of what's over there...

On the agenda for this week:
-a few more aprons
-finishing up my selvage quilt top
-making a buttercup purse for a friend
-enjoy the beautiful spring weather with my boys
-start my personal 'The Biggest Looser' adventure - wish me luck!
